IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE PREP CLASS OF 2017

Congratulations on your acceptance into the Saint Peter's Prep Class of 2017!  Since 1872, Prep has offered young men a quality, Jesuit education that seeks to develop the whole person. We are looking forward to having you take your place in this proud tradition.

Please keep the following dates in mind:

Thursday, January 17, 2013  

Decision letters are mailed to each prospective student whose application was complete by Friday, January 11.

Sunday, January 27, 2013 

The Accepted Students Reception is an opportunity for you to have another chance to visit Prep and meet with our students and faculty if you are unsure about whether you will join us at Prep next year.  Please let us know by email if you will attend: send an email to admissions@spprep.org

A special reception for Ignatian Scholars takes place from 7:00-8:30pm in O'Keefe Commons.  By invitation only.

Saturday, February 2, 2013 

Registration takes place from 9:00am to 12:00 noon in O'Keefe Commons.  Information about accessing the online pre-registration form was included in your acceptance letter.

Saturday, March 16, 2013 

Mandatory placement tests in English and Math will take place.  The results of these tests will determine your proper placement in honors or college-prep courses in freshman year.  Meet in O'Keefe Commons by 8:30am.  Dismissal by 11:30am.  Dress is casual. Tuesday, April 23, 2013 

Parents' Orientation for the Class of 2017 begins at 6:30pm in O'Keefe Commons.  Information about the freshman-year experience, including course placement,  will be provided by Prep teachers and administrators.  Information about Academic Foundations and summer session enrichment classes will be shared as well.

Wednesday-Thursday, August 28-29, 2013  NEXT!

Freshman Orientation takes place over two days in late August with a parent component on the first evening, August 28, from 6:00-7:00pm.  Orientation is required for all incoming students.  Specific reporting times:  10:00am on Wednesday and 8:00am on Thursday. 
Thursday-Friday, September 5-6, 2013
The Ignite Retreat, mandatory for all incoming students, will begin at 6:00pm on Thursday, September 5.  You'll stay overnight at Prep.  The Retreat concludes on Friday, September 6 after the celebration of a Family Mass at 4:00pm.  Much more information will be forthcoming from your Campus Minister, Ms. Maura Toomb.
